Services Available

Elements and Stones is a licensed and insured, organic gardening company ran by me, Taylor Alexander. Elements and Stones Horticulture LLC caters to a diverse range of clients, each with unique horticultural needs. Some seek occasional assistance with plant diagnostics, real estate garden clean-ups, or support with specific projects and designs. Others prefer ongoing seasonal maintenance or regular visits—weekly or monthly—until their backyard gardens are in a condition that can be easily managed independently or seasonally. Regardless of your landscape requirements, I prioritize clear and effective communication to accommodate your specific scheduling preferences.

Elements and Stones offers services billed on an hourly basis, with rates varying according to the specific service requested. Below is a detailed list of services offered, along with their corresponding hourly rates:

Please note, there are no lawn services included. I do not own a mower.

Elements and Stones Client Testimonials:

Sallee Humphrey, Master Gardener:

“I first met Taylor at a work party to restore a riparian landscape. Even though it was a cold and rainy day in the northwest, Taylor diligently and enthusiastically performed her tasks.

She was knowledgeable about the natural fauna and took time to share her observations with others. She was eager to learn the names of native plants that were new to her, and her energy and excitement impressed me. Since that first encounter, I have had several other opportunities to observe Taylor’s work ethic and respect for the outdoors. She has a curiosity that cannot be taught, and demonstrates maturity and focus. I am confident that she will use her education in horticulture to benefit the environment, as well as her community.”

Julie Park from Park Place Perennials

“Taylor has proven to be an extremely hard-working person who takes initiative, is trustworthy and is interested in not just learning but becoming an expert in the field.

Taylor has created schedules for harvest, inspections, prevention and maintenance.  Taylor contributes solutions that are in line with our philosophy of regenerative agriculture and organic farming.  When presented with a challenge, Taylor does her research and actively follows through with solutions to resolve the challenge.  Taylor is very goal oriented and is an independent worker. She is also a delight to work with and is a kind and caring person.”
